Day of the Dead: Ghostly Apparitions in Bogota’s La Candelaria

Colombia does not officially celebrate the Day of the Dead. Nevertheless, Colombians continue to make the pilgrimage to the tombstones of their loved ones on November 1st, to leave items that the now departed once enjoyed in life, such as their favourite belongings or their favourite foods or flowers.
